E-file corrections-
When I e-filed a Form 1 SBR I missed filling in the 4i - State why... box. I received a Disapproved notice so I did the Ask the Experts thing. They e-mailed me to e-file Submit a completely new tax paid Form 1. After e-filing the Form 1 and getting a control number I should reply to their e-mail with the disapproved control number and the new e-file control number telling them it was a Correction.

Submitted new E-file Form 1 and replied to Ask Experts late Jan 19, evening.
Received APPROVED Form 1 Jan 20, 6am. Less than 32 hours for them to approve the correction.[Beer]
I still have to wait for the money to be refunded from the original Disapproved Form 1. The last time it less than 4 weeks.
Now to get some engraving done and order some parts.
130 days including correction.
The $200 tax refund for the original Form 1 was credited to my account February 5, 2016.
I'm hoping mine will be in next if it takes 126 days....

Could you verify your filed date? It says 2015 which is over a year ago, throwing the entire filed date into question. The ATF just told me that it was "impossible" for a From 1 from the end of January to already be approved. :)Quote:

We had a person drop by the club last Tuesday saying his Form1 was approved and he put it in on Jan 15th, I put mine in Jan 29th and got my approval today. So maybe it was just luck?
