Exhaust for fan right next to it. Oil smell instead of bathroom smell?

I will say my neighborhood nextdoor group has mostly turned into an online neighborhood watch. Every other post is people who have spotted some shady characters walking down the street checking door handles on cars, things like that. It's actually been pretty good at helping the cops find some of the criminals.
What I want to know is how "Package delivered to wrong address" and "We had a package delivered to us which isn't ours" never end up at the intersection of returned packages.
Well when the neighbor’s across the street package ended up on my porch due to their mother miss-addressing, I carried it over to them. Even though I didn’t know their names yet.
Through the process of deductive reasoning, I determined that the small child’s bicycle (them having the only young boy of the appropriate age at the time) belonged to them. And no, I didn’t open the package, the UPS labels were stuck onto the factory box.

It looks like I got on to this app just in time to get my popcorn started. The owner of the bar and the complaining patron are both locals and both apparently on the app
I chased down a contract UPS delivery driver two blocks away because he delivered someone else's package instead of my laptop replacement - I was leaving town the next day. Guess where I found him? He had run his whole route in our subdivision back assward and was just looking at the package ID codes or something like that and route instructions, never bothering to check the addresses.

It blows my mind that the guy with apparently NO control over his children is this upset about someone being called an asshole.
Oh, and no response from the owner yet. The complaining patron has expanded her crusade to multiple pages on Facebook as well... in my opinion it helps build the case that “asshole” might’ve been the perfect way to describe her.
I need to find out where that place is. If assholes drink free, count me in.
It’s the Stage Stop in Rollinsville CO, and I’d be a fat ass if assholes ate for free
Lot of puckering up in that one.

It’s been a little slow in my neighborhood so stirring the pot might liven it up
Ha, well done.
Next we will see some hipster dipshit complaining his kids were yelled at and the WiFi didn’t work at the Pioneer Inn.
I'm staying tuned for the exciting conclusion of that nextdoor thread.

I'M WITH HER bumper sticker. Young millienster couple. Thankfully we're not and gone just in time.
Or there'd be real fireworks come 7/4/18
...and here I thought the humor was in someone looking for "facts" by reading "fiction". The stupid is strong with that one...and it breeds.
There are many in Highlands Ranch that flap like a plastic bag when there's the slightest wind....
If Jenny has learned from Decent Middle Easterners, she has probably known the few Christians they've allowed to survive. Though they are dwindling.
I want to like Todd's response but the Marines aren't a corporation. This offends me! How do I post? [LOL]
Maybe someone could just point her to one of the videos with the beheadings?
She should talk to Maajid Nawaz.

So far, this thread has spawned 187 replies, far outpacing the coyote thread and the rat thread from 2 or 3 years ago. The ridiculousness is profound. The gist of it is that people that drive trucks (to encompass pickups as well as commercial trucks, cannot park in their own driveways. If they do, there is a neighborhood photographer that will take pictures, slap a hard-to-remove-sticker on the vehicle, and the HOA charges homeowners an $150 fine PER VIOLATION. Apparently, some people find this offensive. Now they've sequestered the rest of it in the Willow Creek neighborhood threads.
I'm dying to find out how it's going. Who's in WC and can tell me? Paging Skip!
[ROFL2]
Isn't the whole point of having a driveway to park in it?!? I've got neighbors who park over my driveway because they want to leave their driveway open. I would love to have them use their own driveways. Maybe I should get some stickers?
I can't keep up with the WC craziness. We are south of those enemy lines in DougCo for exactly this reason. We looked at houses there but I wasn't going to live in Arapahoe county.
I did find that post though!!! It's getting spicy...

My sister down in San Antonio is dealing with the same insanity from the local neighborhood nazi. My B-i-L will have to be driving an EMS support truck for the next several months and it will have to be parked on the street to prevent if from being blocked-in when he gets the emergency calls. They're actually looking forward to getting complaint letters to illustrate the stupidity.
Jeebus. You couldn't get me to live in an HOA governed neighborhood if you paid me.
The REAL kick in the pants is that whoever took the photos went to two other neighborhoods to take photos of 'truck', to provide an example of the disgusting state of affairs the neighborhood COULD turn into if they allow the hoi-polloi in. One of the pickups is from my neighborhood.
The elitism is strong.

It’s like they want to keep out blue-collar workers/business owners to look more exclusive when these are really middle class neighborhoods to begin with in spite of current housing costs.
The irony... those blue-collar skilled tradesmen are likely making more than the white-collar cubical pilot.
I’ve also got a neighbor with a white van and he puts a vinyl magnet white block over his logo. He has more toys than anyone else on the street!
Florida: My brother is a mechanic for a County.
He's on call 1 week every month or so, to repair anything related to the firetrucks in the county.
He brings home the shop service truck, standard 1 ton, job box etc. It wouldn't fit in the garage if he tried. In the driveway it goes.
Nasty letters from the subdivision about said truck being against the rules etc.
He figured it would happen. So he just leaves it at work, it takes him an extra 30 minutes to drive to the shop, pick up the truck, drive to the "emergency" repair at some fire station. Lather rinse repeat.
Same thing happened during the last hurricane. All county vehicles were taken home with employees for emergency purposes - many letters went out to folks.
If the people only thought about or asked about the vehicle, they might think twice about the delays in response on some things.
Time to park "Miss Agnes" in the driveway.
Attachment 75658
Fans of the John D. MacDonald literary character Travis McGee have wondered for decades what a real Miss Agnes -- McGee’s Rolls-Royce pickup truck -- might look like. But for all those concepts, drawings and imaginary exercises that never got made, there is at least one that made it into reality.
If you are a Travis McGee fan you know this isn’t really Miss Agnes. Its the wrong color. Miss Agnes, who appears in each of the 21 McGee novels is a 1936 electric blue Rolls Royce pickup truck. Here’s how she is described by Travis in Bright Orange for the Shroud.
"Because of the boat errands, I had Miss Agnes parked nearby, my electric blue Rolls pickup truck, an amateur conversion accomplished by some desperate idiot during her checkered past. She is not yet old enough to vote. But almost. She started with a touch, and I went along the beach to where…"
So some hoa’s Don’t allow the homeowner to park a pickup truck on the street or in the driveway?
