Happy New Years, OBC!!!!
OBC.
I saved 90% of the 223 brass I messed up....and obviously the powder and projectiles.
Using the majic bullet hammer is an incentive to not mess up when you're loading stuff in the first place...lol.
I did obtain some new supplies today, 4lbs of H335, and about 700 .223 projectiles...and some other shit.
Goodnight my Friends.
Ho's must be hungover
[Party1]..........
Happy New Year to all...I actually feel great this Morning, kept it to Two Margs with dinner last night, and then water up until the ball dropped..........................
Mornin' Wax and Mc
Morning wax and OBC! I didn't party either. Back in Hawaii New years is a big thing, tons of fireworks.
Maybe I'm just getting old and crabby. Hermit status.
There were some fireworks around here, and on the other side of the "green belt", there was some ruckus and hollerin'.
I heard a few bangs and some young kids yelling, thats about it. I remember Y2K in Hawaii the smoke was so thick you could barely see 10ft in front of you. Some parts of the highways were engulfed. I wonder how many fingers went missing...
Morning hos
Morning bogie
Morning hoes.
Was kinda sickly yesterday so we hit the rack early and I slept in until around 11. I'm sure the wif was up at the crack of dawn.
OBC, where did you score the H335? Cabela's lone tree had some slow magnum powders like Reloader 25 and shotgun crap. One jug of MRP sitting there. Only info I had on them was the powder burn rate chart I had saved on my phone.
I had to pick up a 22LR order and had one of the $25 off $100 coupons so I grabbed a Lyman benchtop case trimmer, another 250 Berry's .45ACP plated bullets, and some trays and boxes.
Thanks to another great COAR15 member, I have some Varget, IMR4895, BL-C(2) here now and 2 jugs of 8208 XBR waiting for me in the Springs to pick up.
Sounds like a nice haul!
yep, nice score.
I have that case trimmer. I mounted mine to a 1x4 strip of MDF board. I just clamp the board to my bench top. I think credit for that idea goes to obc. Anyway, I have the adaptor for a drill motor. If you didn't get that, definitely consider it as trimming is MUCH faster.
Bogie do you add cardamom to yours?
Heya Bogie and Brutal...
Bogie, how's the family rat doin'?... I hope it was just a routine visit.
Brutal, Cabelas North had exactly Four Pounds of powder, 2 of lever powder, and 2 weirdo numbers. We found the 335 at a little place in Brighton, got it for the 223...it's higher up on the burn rate chart, just wanted to experiment with some new stuff. Doesn't matter where I go now, when I see something I can buy for use or trade down the road, I'm buying it. That's cool that a fellow member is getting you hooked up, I think it's pretty bad ass when folks here help each other out. I've been on the receiving end of that before, and I hope to share the love back when the opportunity presents itself.
Spending some time at the bench today, gonna work up a few more different things.. :)
Ah, good to hear....hope the new cocktail gives her a little more pep in her step.
How are ya brother?
Nothing wrong with some cane sugar. I used to homebrew gingerbeer. Nom!
I'd go with MaryAnn, myself.
Maybe with a little Ginger on top though.. :D
I've always been a ginger man myself. Even named my old truck ginger.
I named my old truck, the Blue Pig.
Yeah, it was blue.......and a horrible gas hog.
My truck was coined brutal by a friend. Hence my handle on various boards that all started with a truck board.
Now you know.
Gingers
But only the hot ones, some are really just fugly. Not much in between.
I miss my truck a little bit. So nice to be able to just throw shit in there. Feet all dirty, spit my dip on the floor....
Got fender benders multiple times and I feel bad for the other car.
Firecrotch FTW. I got a good story about this......NSFW or kids.
