At 5 years of age, one month is only 1/(5*12) or 1/60th of your life.
At 50 years of age, one month is 1/720th of your life, so it seems like a much smaller amount of time, therefore it passes faster.

Thanks man. I try to spend as much time with HB Jr and the wife as I can. It's just hard when I'm at work for 10-12 hours every day with an hour commute each way, and when I get home, I just need some "me" time... Kinda sucks being such an introvert.Quote:

A friend had a theory on why time passes faster as you get older and I think he may be right. Take a 6 year old for example. 1 year is 1/6th of his life. That's a major portion of it so a year seems like a long time. For a 40 year old 1 year is 1/40th of his life so a year is not all that much anymore.
