OBC how things going at home?
I can't believe I've been an official forum member for almost 2 years now. Time is flying!
(I was a lurker since about the summer of 2009.)
I appreciate you asking, Wax.
The truth, is that it's a struggle, man. All of us know to well what the stresses are of getting through each week, just with jobs and bills and responsibilities. Then add in the relationship factor for 24 years, folks change, interests and priorities can vary significantly over that kind of time period.
It really is a tender situation still floating around back and forth a bit. Nobody pulled the plug on anything yet, kinda limbo so to speak.
Time is flying!
Yes, Sir, HB.....it certainly is, and the older one becomes, the faster it goes for some damn reason. Yourself and Waxjob should really absorb all the moments you can with your children as they transform from the little people, into the young adults they will be in just a few short years.
Welcome to the club. As one of the founding members of this thread. Spyder, Patrick, Monky, Trigger. It's fun for awhile. But one has to post something meaningful every now and then. [Coffee]
I heard you just have to tie a few knots in yours to fit. [LOL] Just Kidding!! [Beer]

At 5 years of age, one month is only 1/(5*12) or 1/60th of your life.
At 50 years of age, one month is 1/720th of your life, so it seems like a much smaller amount of time, therefore it passes faster.

Thanks man. I try to spend as much time with HB Jr and the wife as I can. It's just hard when I'm at work for 10-12 hours every day with an hour commute each way, and when I get home, I just need some "me" time... Kinda sucks being such an introvert.
Sorry about your situation... It sucks, but I home it turns out in the best way possible for you.
A friend had a theory on why time passes faster as you get older and I think he may be right. Take a 6 year old for example. 1 year is 1/6th of his life. That's a major portion of it so a year seems like a long time. For a 40 year old 1 year is 1/40th of his life so a year is not all that much anymore.
I guess I tapatalk too slow
Sorry Big Wall, beat ya to it. [Coffee]
Just to blow your mind and also how to make any math problem ridiculous hard:
Euler's Identity states: http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/f/8...12cda44665.png
And with a little math, you can show that (its not that hard lol)
1 = -e^(i*pi)
So, next time someone asks you what 1+1 = , reply with
-2e^(i*pi)

Thanks, brother.
One thing I do know, is that you characters are fun to visit with...I can't count the laughs ya'll have given me, cool folks. I dig the board for sure, and met some of you in person.
Glad for that, and hope to meet more of ya over whatever mathematical equation happens to fit that schedule....lol.
Right on, HB... one of these days.
I gotta run for a bit, fellers.
