Ours died months ago but we had a leak in the drain so I finally picked one up at Home Depot. We obviously don't use it a ton so I wasn't too worried about getting a stronger unit.

New upper.....all right, the receiver was used but the rest is new. Fit my lower like a glove - no more slack adjusting o-rings for me :p. Now the question is....do I buy another lower and have 2 complete carbines, keep my old upper for a spare, or try to trade it off. Hmmm

Nothing really go. An intake. I plan on doing an exhaust some time this year. The car is a daily driver, and the engine in it doesn't have much in the way of aftermarket power mods. I could do things like motor mounts or more handling stuff, but I want it to still be a comfortable commuter, so that limits some things. The spoiler I picked up because a friend was selling it for a stupidly low price. I hope to get some tires for the other set of wheels eventually, too.

2.0 Skyactiv engine. I'd love to boost it, but the compression ratio is too high (13:1) for it to survive it.

Just do it. Forced upgrades are the best upgrades! :)

I'm running 10.2:1 boosted @ 19-21psi, which is considered quite high, and that is with direct injection for fuel and plenum injection for Meth... Can't imagine boosting 13:1, port injection or direct injection.

Didn't realize they were that high, that is getting close to what I ran on my race build super bike motors when I still raced super bikes.

Yeah, it's crazy high. The Speed 3s are only 9.5:1, but they are already turbo'd. I'd prefer to supercharge a car, though. Get that extra power all the way through the power band.
