This is the basic thread where everyone goes to share videos that they find interesting.
I tried to start a general video thread awhile ago, but that died, so I guess we're stuck using a thread whose title isn't exactly reflective of the content.

Not a single video but a series; currently up to 76 episodes out of likely 100+ that average about 20 minutes each. It's a step-by-step on how to build a really nice wood-framed house in the western US (Oregon). This video is the start but you can randomly pull anyone of them to get a feel for the content.

He also does a bunch of blacksmithing stuff and general tool "old school craftsman" how to stuff. His vids are pretty good. Not very flashy and I would guess it will be more accepted by the older crowd or younger people who work with their hands for a living and want to refine their skills.
He is trying to get a subscription video series on blacksmithing. Not cheap, but he is a good presenter. I doubt I will drop the coin on it.
Mmmm. BBQ.

Slo-mo of SawStop. The guy even tries forcing a hot dog as fast as he can into the blade to see what damage can be done in the "worst case" scenario.

Crazy video.
I wonder if the talons got through the clothes into his little back.
Nuts right? Could have been bad...
Haven't watched this video with sound. A lot of people just think this guy is lying and can see. From what I've heard, this guy has actually had his eyes removed (apparently after this video was shot). Don't know much about him, just heard about it and looked for a video.

From the YouTube info:

President Trump visited the Black Hills on July 3, 2020. The world's largest American Flag was unfurled at Buffalo Chip near Sturgis for the flyover of Air Force One on his return that evening to Washington DC.
The organizers of this event paid for this out of their own pocket.

Looks pretty fun. I bet someone with an arduino could program that thing to use random rates of flow so the balls are always moving.

^^^So bad ass. This is what license fees should be going toward.
Some may not find this cool or amazing, but I constructed this backlight for my TV. It uses a Raspberry Pi with hyperion loaded, along with a HDMI splitter (2 in my case) and a capture card. The Pi looks at the hdmi feed, grabs the edges and sends it to a addressable LED strip.
Special thanks to Izzy for making this possible.
And please ignore the fact that my TV decided to torch a backlight LED the day I finally hung it on the wall. Parts on the way.

Looks pretty cool to me nice work.
Were you watching Farmaggedon 1 or 2? Personally I liked the books better.
My apologies if this was covered before, but it was new to me:
