This is where I am too. I need to go test the loads I made, but this weather isn't very conducive to good range time.

He seemed to be in a somewhat persnickety mood yesterday, based on some of his replies that I noticed, so he probably just got too wound up for his own good.
Now you whores quit dragging me back in here, so I can go get my MC groove on. Peace be unto all...
...and my caliper battery is dead. :( it's one of those little 357 batteries and I don't have any extras. So much for doing any brass work...
LIKE OMG WOW ISS!
[facepalm]
Haven't loaded anything lately either. But I did set up my Forster 3-in-1 carbide cutter head to the chamfer depth I wanted on the Forster trimmer. No moe hand inside and outside chamfering. Yay!
I have a really nice battery cal, but you're right. I used to buy battery operated EVERYTHING. I'm growing to hate batteries. I want to get one of the Trijicon red dots that also has a fiber optic bit so it works without batteries too. They are pricey, but it's on my list.
Well shit. I just got a case stuck. I quit.
I have both dial and electronic mics....and I have a shitload of 357 batteries in the drawer.
HB, get on the ball, you hoser.
Sorry hos, just got off the bike and have my legs propped up, about all I can do at the moment is poke fun and make nonsensical jokes
And use words like nonsensical in nonsensical ways [Tooth]
Dang it, meant Trij....my bad.
Since kazoo isn't here, I've got a question for you hos.
What kind of trimmers do you use for brass? I'm considering picking up a WFT2 so I can have a cutter for both 223 and 308. Is it worth it or is there something truly better out there to use?
I've got about 2k 223 and 50 308 at the moment, but the qty of 308 will grow after I get my rifle and buy some factory ammo.
This purchase will be after I purchase my rifle, which will be in about 2 weeks, so it isn't taking away from that rifle fund (actually, the rifle budget is enough for the rifle but I made an agreement with the wife that I'll purchase it in 2 weeks). Happy wife, happy life-with-lots-o-guns-and-toys. [LOL]
Lyman Acculine trimmer here.
Yes, I have the orange night sights as well.
Bogie, that's some weird shit there.
OBC, how precise is it? Is it easy to adjust to whatever dimension you want? Can you hold .001" consistency?
I have the Lyman Universal Trimmer and power adaptor. It is consistent to about +/- 0.0015". It is easy to adjust. There is a threaded adjustment with indications. I've had no complaints about this trimmer whatsoever. The power adaptor is a must if you have significant quantities of brass.

I'm sure there are better options out there, but this one works fine for the volume I shoot.
My bad, been surfing the reloading forum ;) My spouse will not be happy till her tax stamp shows up.
I have 2 trimmers. the Giraud and a dillon RT1200. The 1200's on the 1050. For super accurate trimming i've found doing them by hand is best. Most trimmers have a ~ + - OAL, even with the same head stamp. Mic up a few pcs of New brass and see what the discrepancy in OAL is.
Headed to Brighton, later holmeseses.
*flings a ping pong ball at Jim first though*
