i saw my reloading room this morning. that counts, right?
Right now its am open window and a fan. But I am going to run a vent and a fan to pull the air from above the pot to outside so it doesn't stink up the house and so I don't have cold air blowing on the pot. I already have a 3" hole in the outside wall of this room from the previous owners hot tub conduit I had temp patched. So I will use it for a vent system.
Don't even ask, when it rains, it pours.
Back to the drawing board with the .338-06 loads... least the brass if fire formed now.
Decrimped about 750 .223 brass.
Picked up another 2500rds of LC 5.56 brass.
I see a lot of depriming, decrimping, and tumbling in my future...
Killed a Black Widow last night. Tonight I mounted my powder throw.
I saw another Black Widow, but it was just too cute, I couldn't kill it.
Looked into the room and sighed.
I deprimed and resized about 550 pieces of .223 brass. My back is sore because my press is mounted too low. Now I see why people get mounts for their presses.
In other news, I've realized that I have 2-3k .223/5.56 cases that need the primer holes swaged. This crap just keeps getting more and more expensive while I try to save money...
Is anyone willing to loan me a nice bench-mounted swager like a dillon super swage 600 or similar for a few weeks?
