Dry-firing.
22 stages starts tomorrow. Each competitor is required to carry everything with them the entirety of the two days. Once you're in the compound, they lock the gate.

Well hell,..the night got all eaten up already.
TGIF...have a good one bitches.
There's an NFA forum here.
Confused by your question.
In general from what I think I know:
Short (<16") upper can run on pistol lower or (form 1) SBR lower.
SBR lower can run original stamp length or (temporary) longer or different cal. upper.
Suppressor (form 4) is a separate issue.
I am. I'm waiting for these clowns @ work. BOCO FTW.
I cannot keep up with all the fukin acronyms.

Red dot sight.
So I just did some reading. No thx on any NFA. Just, no thanks.
Plus I want to ninja out the rig I have now
That's pretty much the only type of stuff my telescope looks at. We are looking at spectra of various objects. One instrument (my new project) is looking towards the center of the milky way galaxy mapping the stars/objects we can't see through the dust lane (in near IR). The other is looking at quasars and other objects.
That's what I thought too, but the more I think about it, the more I'd like to get some suppressors. SBR/SBS/FA aren't really that appealing to me, but suppressors have a practical use. I've researched it a lot too and will definitely get one eventually (though it seems like now with the eForms going so fast is the time to get it because if you find a flaw in their system, you get it back in 4 days!)
So we know what Belly's up to today, what about everyone else?
I've got some brass to sort, a scope rail to mount, my rifles COAL to determine, possibly some test loads to (wax, don't look) reload and in general, some relaxing to do.
Gotta try to clear up big time shit storm at work, by lunch time, so I can get back home to pick up wife for post op check up.

Then try to get to range in time to shake down oldest grandsons new rifle for family reunion match on Sunday. He is defending champ in the under 12 kids div. A couple of cousins got into his head over Christmas break and rattled his cage. He calls me every other day to discuss progress.

This afternoon is just me. Get the bugs out and get it on paper. Then tomorrow he will dial in with me coaching.
We have a sweet little spot near Wiggins that is a bowl that the wind just blows over our heads. Just enough room to set a 50 yd range. If light wind tomorrow we can move onto the flat and stretch out to 100 yds.

So if you want an SBR, you get the tax stamp for the lower, then you can put any upper on that lower. Uppers are not firearms and have no serial number, therefore they do not require a stamp. Suppressors require stamps. Each item requires its own stamp. The NFA section of this forum is lots of help, but there are other forums dedicated to NFA stuff like silencertalk and snipershide. I bet a google search of "how to make a SBR" or "how to purchase a suppressor" would yield good results.
