Spot on, every minute you wait, your chances of survival decrease exponentially. As for the San Bernardino thing, that would be one of the best places to be compared to everything else in the urban areas, San Bernardino is on the edge of it all, as long as you don't dick around waiting you are leading the pack out of town. From there I think I would head out toward Havasu and surrounding areas before making my way north and east to steer clear of as much population as possible.

I think if you miss the boat though, like our cast in the show has, they should consider bugging in for a good while. I believe this is what will happen on the show as their chance of making an escape has been missed and they are stuck. I think they are going to find out the hard way that they are stuck though, and a few cast members will be lost before they circle back to their local area. Reality will smack the anti gun guy pretty quick, and the cast will have to find more weapons and start scavenging up supplies which I suspect the druggie and the mom will be good at. If they don't start listening to the older barber fellah, some one will pay with their lives for that.

There are always some interesting things you guys have to say about both of the Series that AMC has going with this story line. From folks that like the shows, to those that do not particularly get on board with the writing or acting and all that.
