I think it works better for the family as well, but my wife doesn't like me not being home at night. She graduates with her masters degree in the spring. Until then, like you said, I gotta do what needs doin.

Out doing driver observations tonight. Basically spying on them. I've never been caught yet. Amazing how they don't pay attention to their surroundings while making deliveries.
I was destined for another long night, but fuck it, I'm done. Besides, I need some sleep before going to the range tomorrow. One last DOPE run before chasing some Elks around the woods.
I'm already tired and it's only approaching 0100. I'm having a hard time getting used to nights.
Technically, I'm on "night crew" every other night with the baby HoneyBadger, but tonight is a real doozy...
Ill be on real night crew all week this week. Got stuck with graves for 4 straight days. [Bang]

I'm on night crew duty, though I'm heading home in just under 2 hours.
Only have 3 more night crew shifts before I start working on the new project. Sucky part is, I'm on from 12/23-12/27. :(
