Salutations!
Belly I'm jelly.
I just want to open a door!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like Monday I'm back to work. Heard some unsettling news from a co-worker. Mostly good I think though.
Apex center is pretty cool. Tuckered me right out!
Yo ho's.
Brutal is in Albuquerque tonight. Picking up the boat tomorrow.
Dad DSB, what's up?
I need to call the front desk and ask them if the circus is in town.
Oh yeah and hey hoes.
Why?
Because the GD Elephant herd is in the room above.
We'll new owner said I was foreman. Now the person who I was supposed to watch over told me that she us the foreman....? Owner hasn't told me anything. I can already see this is gonna be interesting.
I don't care who is honestly, but there needs to be structure. If I'm getting paid the same and don't have the headaches of supervising that's fine with me.
Hey brutal, send me a text message or PM tomorrow
lmao, Maddog
Hope everyone has a decent Friday.
Peace, brothers....goodnight.
I just got back from karaoke night at a bar in the town next to where I live.
i guess my rendition of 'eye of the tiger' got some folks riled up and they almost got into a fight with the guy who runs the karaoke part. The karaoke guy got pretty upset about the fight, so he pulled the plug on the karaoke. I just kept right on singing, a Capella.....
Half the bar sang with me, the other half was trying to de-escalate the dudes about to fight. Awesome!
Eye of the Tiger has a magical affect on anyone who grew up in the 80s. It's a science fact.
Unfortunately, these guys were much too young and dumb to have grown up in the 80s.
One guy called another guy a queerbait, and he took a pretty big exception to that. I was thinking, "are they really going to fight about that? Yep, I guess so...."
'Rising up....back on the street......'
"queerbait"
"Them's fightin' words!"

Myyyy bags are packed, I'm ready to go...
My chief engineer got lost for about 9 hours on his way down.
He apparently missed a flight, the airport internet was out, his cell phone (with global talk) wasn't working, didn't have phone numbers to call people, and because he missed his shuttle to the observatory, everyone got worried. He missed his shuttle by 7 hours, rented a car and drove to the observatory at night.
I sure hope I don't miss my flights or my shuttle, I don't want to drive myself there, at least not on my first trip!
Howdy Ho's
BC.... I hope you have a safe trip there, and everything goes smoothly for you getting your housing/moving in, etc etc. Good luck on everything, brother.
You *are* still gonna be ho'in though, right?
Obc the biggest ho I know!
Heya OBC
This is just a week long trip, we have some engineering nights on the telescope to determine a few critical dimensions for the optics.
No idea what my schedule looks like for hte next week though, but I depart locally around noon Saturday and land at my destination at 2:30pm on Sunday, then a 3hr drive, observe all night, sleep for 3-5 hours, then meet with some engineers I'm collaborating with, observe a full night again, and perhaps then I can get some more sleep.
Plenty of time to sleep fifty years from now.
Lobbed from my electronic ball and chain
Happy Friday there, Fellers.
