It started with a R700 that wouldn't give up the barrel. No problem, just give a tiny bit of the heat, and off it comes!

It's a little dirty, so lets just clean it right out.

The lower lug had good contact, but the upper lug had (guess-timating) less than 20% engagement area. Hand lapping will help with that. The receiver was less than .0005" off from concentric, so no need to thrown it in a lathe.

A little bit of friction in the bolt was causing a binding in the cocking action. A couple turns with a strop, and all is well.

I made beef stroganoff for dinner. The last ingredient is always the sour cream (well actually the paprika and parsley go on last). Shit! I was out. But I just happened to have a quart of Greek yogurt - s staple in our house. It was a great substitute I must say. Also we scrapped the egg noodles this time and I went with a wild brown rice as the base. It was a good combination and a healthier option.

i don't bother turning on the pc till at least 7=8 in the am. Then again i don't turn it off till 1-2 in the am either. Love downloading free books.

Glad to hear it was good, Bogie. The class I took, instructor said after a week you start to forget the muscle memory among other things. Dry fire costs nothing though, like Belly and others have said. Fifteen minutes or so a day.

Got my breakfasts cooked for the week, baked chicken and some sides for dinner tonight, and lunches.
