^^^ Exactly. Some of us don't hear nearly as well as we once did.

I don't have hearing issues but I expect people to point their faces at me (eye contact) and speak up top be heard. If someone is mumbling to their sneakers or phone I will say "what?!"

This is becoming common.

Speaking directly to someone now can be "intimidating." Outside of a TED Talk, of course.

People who try to yap yap about politics , whenever I talk about Econ, Market(s), and/or Poli Sci.

ValleyGirlSpeak was sooooo '80's. But I was sitting in the coffee shop off CO115 and Academy yesterday, when a young lady teen was talking to someone older. I actually counted one sentence that had four "likes".

We've all been there....who calls who back? You know...where you both get the Voicemail because you called each other back at the same time. wtf.
