Well that may make sence as I don't go to the movies but once or twice a year so l will stay away from AMC. But on the other side of that, I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6!

CCW would have probably been less effective than we would hope. The guy was armored and used smoke and /or tear gas. Combine that with confusion, there would be a high likelihood of hitting a bystander.

The shooter used at least four guns -- an "AK type" rifle, a shotgun and two handguns, a federal law enforcement official told CNN. The source also said the shooter used tear gas.
