What's with the attitude from gun stores?

Internet dependent has it's downfalls also.

I haven't had any bad experiences with gun stores; I've been to three different gunshops in the past two months. Although there were people three-deep around the counter, the workers were all polite, professional and relaxed. Gander Mountain was insanely busy, so customers were getting a little testy for the wait time, but the workers were trying hard to maintain an upbeat attitude. DCF Guns was terrific; not oly was it a great experience but they actually took the time to suggest other places I might look to find some ammunition they were out of.

Yeah, I guess I deserved a bit of a thrashing - Mods, apologies for essentially "trolling."

As of late, it just seems that when I go into a shop the "help" all appear to be hating customers and wishing I'd go somewhere else to relieve some of the strain on them.

I'm sure once demand tapers-off a bit things will go back to normal.

Went to Gander Mountain recently a couple times for the first time and everyone I dealt with was great.

Awesome. When I went there it was the customers that were the crabby ones, and snarked a good deal in word and tone to the retail workers. I felt badly for them; they were working as quickly as they could.

Maybe their burned out seeing the shit EVERYONE COMPLAINED ABOUT in the store, being resold by the same customer on armslist or GB for 2-4X the original price? MMMMMMMMMMM
