Lol nice! I have been running on average about 4 hrs but its some dirty crap.
Got a tumbler in from Amazon.com. Put some .308 in it, turned it on.
Bench is rebuilt.
Tried to figure out why my case positioner/case feed mechanism feels like I am dragging it over 40 grit sandpaper.
I'm sure I'll end up doing that soon enough, but only because my press is attached to a pretty crappy workbench right now. I am working up plans for a new bench, but need a powder scale to start reloading first.
Today I sized/decapped about 600x .40S&W (winchester headstamp this time). Took delivery of a kinetic bullet puller, definitely has a bit of a learning curve. And also got a .40S&W case gage, because I dont want to blow up my Glock with brass that is too deformed and being new, I don't know how much is too much. Apparently, the brass that I selected (which seems like a huge bulge to me) was perfectly fine. Interestingly enough, the first few were a little tight on the first insertion into the case gage, but after that, they all dropped free right in. Must have done a little sizing or knocked a little dirt off the gage.
Keep eyeballing a dillon terminator electronic scale, might get the hornady version for around $90 instead.
I'm all for Dillon blue, however before you do that, check this one out:
