No boats to Hawaii? [panic] Guess not likely I will visit.

Awww bummer! I was planning on placing an order for 2k jacketed .223 55gr bullets from Xtreme Bullets this weekend (free shipping!) but they recently sold out. :(
How's the fledgling garden doing, HB?
Belly, I'm finally going to get to use that scope tomorrow. I'm pretty damn excited to do so.
Well, it's hailed a few times, so I put a semi-permanent clear plastic painter's tarp over it and it's been keeping most of the hail off. The seeds won't be sprouting for at least another week or so... so there's nothing exciting there yet. All the "living" plants that I transplanted (tomatoes and peppers) are all still alive, so I guess that's good, right? [Dunno]
Alive is always good, HB.
You do realize that we'll be expecting quality photographs of your micro farming progress...right?

:D
Thanks for the link, HB
My bank card has been compromised. Again. In March I caught it quickly and stopped it before there were any major charges. No such luck this time. I'm overdrawn by $1600 right now. Fuck.
Heya Ridge......that sucks.
Recently I've had to have two cards reissued due to fraudulent charges. PITA.
I think I'm changing banks once this is sorted out. I've been with this bank for ~15 years, but this is twice for me in 3 months, and my mom's was been compromised last week. Combined with other inconveniences (the nearest branches are in Parker and Aurora) and it's just not getting to be worth it. Especially when this keeps happening and I have to go on a friggin road trip to get grocery money from a branch in person.
Heya Irving..
How the hell are ya?
Ridge, it sucks, but local branches of big institutions really don't give a shit about anyone.
The customer/provider loyalty program disappeared many years back.....bastards.
Ridge, that sucks. My wife recently left her card in the gas pump (100% my fault) and we had some charges, nothing like yours.
Otterbat, I'm doing pretty well. Hope you get that place. I recently got a new job. I'll get to work from home and get a work vehicle. Looking forward to it.
It's all good.
Spent a good day (even though it was classifier) competing with cool kats, and afterward got invited to shoot several bad azz suppressed rifles.
Spending the evening with the minions(they are out for holiday) and tomorrow I will take my grandson to visit my grandfather's grave.
That's cool, Irving...and thank you. I'm sufficiently worried about everything working out alright.
Lobo, I'm glad you had a good day at the range.....I'll get to shoot tomorrow, but it's not the same as seeing you guys out there. I think that's super badass taking your grandson to honor your grandfather together like that.
Bummer... It's been a long time since I've needed a new card. Actually my credit card expires in a few months and it is literally falling apart. The strip is still intact though, so as long as I can get the reader to read it, I'm good.
What bank do you currently use?
Anyone else going to be at the Denver zoo tomorrow? I'll be there from 11-2ish
We'll be there on Thursday. NEVER NEVER NEVER go on free day.
Is tomorrow free day?
Oh I have no idea. That was just a general life tip.
Ya gotta love life tips... lol
If you guys haven't been to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for some time...it's worth looking into. They also provide adult only events that serve alcohol...you can walk around Vegas style....sporting your coldie and diggin' on learning about stuff.
Goodnight fellers.
Good morning fellow gun enthusiasts,
HB, you're probably good to wait a couple of years until Jr is a little older, but you'll definitely want to bring him up here for the zoo and the museum. The adult events are pretty cool, but probably not worth the drive you have.
Just scored 2lbs of Unique at Bass Pro. Too bad I don't use it as much as the other stuff I can't find.
Successful morning at the range....
Denver Zoo has a few of those.. along w/ the Wildlife Experience down in parker.. Art & Ale is pretty fun.. so is brew at the zoo. Art & Ale a few of the hotels do a deal for a ticket and a room..and it's wonderful. Get blasted and taken back to your room with a bunch of other drunk people. Have not really seen any drama go down as the crowds tend to be more professionals than your typical bar scene... I think a few years ago when I went it was $120? for the night that included tickets and breakfast the next morning. Worth it imo as a taxi and tickets would have been more. Didn't see any stay and play things for brew at the zoo though. Not really sure I'd want to stay at any of the close by hotels for that.
