Yeah, I think so... he's shorter than me, much wider and more muscular. My wife, son, and me were all hanging out next to the door to the other side of the range.

As for the steel ammo, both times the range officer noticed it sparking against the traps and had it tested. The next time I shot after I got called on it I heard someone say, "See, you didn't need that steel after all!" So there must be some people who think of it as an advantage. I made an honest (dumb) mistake. I shoot indoors so infrequently that I didn't even think about it.
Denver GP, that would have been your son who shot after me. I didn't think there was enough age difference between you two to think he was your kid; keep up the good looks! ;)
I was there- made it into the quarter finals while not shooting very well. White hair, glasses, faded blue jeans and a plaid shirt. Shooting a Nighthawk lefty out of a holster. I am often referred to there as "Mr. Clean". Not shooting very clean these days though.
I got tired of the few assholes, so I took a break from the Monday shoots ( 4 weeks). will be back next week I think.
I saw you Sneakerd, and wondered if that might be you. While I'm not shy, I gave up on asking people "Are you from the board?" years ago because no one ever was. Good shooting.
Definitely an off night- mind was not on the game so I just tried to relax. Had a couple of good runs when I needed them- but everyone's getting better so the margin of error is narrower. Won't be there next Monday but likely the week after. Maybe I can get my mind right by then! I really wanted to call out for COAR members when we were all on the range after the safety briefing, but pussed out.
At the rate we are going, we may end up being 50% of the crowd.
Going to do the advanced pins tomorrow. Anybody else? . Also, did any of you shoot the uspsa there last week ? It was a good time.
