I have no problems with Afghan. One of the many drops in the bucket that made me change from supporting Bush to not was how he handled that like he did not give a shit. And yes it goes back to FDR. The period from FDR till Reagan was a time when Liberal economics ruled. Then Reagan came along and rewrote damn near all the rules. You have a before and after over a 40 year period for both. ^^ No clue about economics. Post revolutionary war economy was so bad that the US practically stop trading w/ the traditional European partners due to The British embargo/blockade. New market in the far east opened up, the US exported fur and wood products to China. In the 21st century, there is no new market. Rich people does not equal large corporations which is backed by the current administration. If you are telling me that Obama is willing to let AIG, GE, JP Morgan etc to fall apart w/o bailout, then yes I agree with you. It will opens up opportunity to the workers and fresh ups when the market bottom out. The truth is, Democrats are as guilty if not worse when it comes to large corporations.
