Not really a purchase, but I took it in partial trade for a scope:

finally found one that wasn't overly overpriced
Thanks Mark! This thing is bigger than the picture suggests :)

Nice Monkey. Could you PM me the info on your purchase? I am about to buy one myself.
Certainly.
It's the 'National'.. which is the top of the line. The size is the '40'. I know I didn't have the room for the '50'. Even though I'd eventually like to fill it, right now I have to figure out what to put in it :) Guns only take up so much room.
It has a 2.5 hr fire rating, which I'm pretty sure my little place will burn down before that.
Mark does a Great job with delivery.. best $100 I ever spent for someone else to move the safe. I don't think I ever want to try and do it myself.

A few songs that caught my ear...

Somebody come get these and then re-post here the great deal you got!
Post #457 in the "Pay It Forward" thread:
I call shenanigans, there's no way you could get a six foot body in that cooler without a little saw work
^^^ Maybe there was, maybe there wasn't... Many things worth doing aren't easy.
Outstanding! Thanks, Dave.
And the bloodstains in the big one are from...an elk. Yeah. An elk.
(Just kidding...there aren't any bloodstains. As far as you know.)
Wow, he's good-looking! What is he? His brow wrinkles just like our pit Cica (R.I.P.). I think we're about ready to get another yardmate for our sole-survivor, JD. As much as I'd love a puppy, we tend to adopt older dogs that are short-listed for the chopping block. He's awful cute though.
I beleave he is a Pit. If I remember right. Monky will correct me if I'm wrong.
