Replacing wax ring on a toilet, trying to tackle the transmission back into the Cavalier. Bought a new headlight for Focus. Bought some pipe to make a PVC bow.
I've been doing the work thing for 14 hour days (minimum) for the past several days, and the end is lookling like it's going to be the end of next week. I'm probably going to be too tired to go shooting without a couple days of a break. ugh!!!
Must be some zombie event today downtown. I left job site turned on to Lawrence headed north, as I came to 16th st, all the sudden there were zombies eveywhere.
I was excited and pissed at the same time.
Excited that the zombie apocalypse had started, pissed that I was in condition white and was in the middle of the zombies before I noticed them. Also pissed because I didn't have a rifle and only had two pistol mags.
Then I saw them spazzing like downtown liberals, not real zombies.
Disappointment.
Wife is down there with the zombies. I'm on my way back to Home Depot to pick up some Root-X.
Is it some sort of mall crawl?
Just dress up as zombies. They do it ever year. Pretty large and popular event. Called Zombie Crawl.
I think I saw Hurley and family at Home Depot.
Husker Time. GBR.
Oh yeah, saw this the other day. Of all the things I think would be the most scary to climb, this has got to be one of them.

My favorite Walter joke - "72 virgins? Why not 72 slutty chicks that know what they are doing?"
I should dig out some of my iron worker pictures from back in the day. Crazy shit I tell ya.
Phuck.... I think my wife and I both have food poisoning. Luckily my mom seems unaffected and can take care of the little guy. All food commonality with my mom, EXCEPT the soup. I'm going to throttle Mr Li next time I see him. He probably had that shit sitting lukewarm all evening festering....
GK no go for tomorrow. I didn't have a chance to dig out my hunting gear. Rain check?
Wow, heck of a game between Florida State and Notre Dame!
I finally have a legitimate reason (IMO) to buy this. Once I can get over how much it costs, I'm going to order one.

EDIT: Actually, I bet I could just make my own out of pvc pipe since it won't have to support my weight, just the weight of a ladder. Hmmmm. Let me get back to you guys.
lol wut?
I already scrapped the idea of paying $40 for a grappling hook. I'll just go spend $2 on an actual hook, as that is all I need. The idea is to have a way to retrieve my ladder if it falls off the roof.
Hasn't happened yet, but it's happened to every person I've ever talked to. You get complacent, forget to tie it off to the gutter, or there is a gutter guard or something, and along comes a gust of wind and your ladder is on the ground.
Oh, I'm on a roof pretty much every day now. Up to three a day pretty soon I'm afraid.
What do you hook to if there is no gutter?
I don't have any pictures of the bow, because it looks like a 5' piece of 3/4" pvc with a string on it. Pretty unassuming.
A little, but I don't have any more decent arrows. Plus, I'm just resting the arrow on my hand. I can make an arrow rest and stuff, but haven't done so yet. It will be back burnered for now. I'll post up if I ever do anything else with it.
Irving, I think you are going ninja with the grappling hook and bow. I'd love to see you tip an arrow with the grapple and use it to scale the water tower.
Yeah...I could dig that too.
I got all my breakfasts and lunches made for the week. While cleaning everything up, I came to the realization that my sink is not only clean, but "have your baby in my sink" clean. So, if Mitch Hedberg were still alive.......he could make a really funny joke about my sink being so clean, that a woman could have a baby in it.
....and Howdy, fellers.
