I don't miss that part of the life. It's been nice to be settled down. Miss some of the other stuff, but certainly wouldn't go back. Especially in todays .mil

I really love the geographic state of California... It's a beautiful place with coastline, mountains, desert, lush forests, and great hunting and fishing opportunities. I just don't know how I'm going to handle the morons that live there.
On the upside, there are lots of good things to do there with young kids.
Its also a great opportunity to travel and explore the west coast.
I haven't ever been to Northern CA, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana.
With the INSANE cost of living out there, this is almost appealing.Quote:

The starting price tag is $0 when you build it yourself (or the price of whatever trailer you decide to build it on). I think shipping containers are a great idea, but not sure how that works out as far as being over a certain square footage to avoid county minimums. However, shipping containers are cheap enough that it probably wouldn't be as big of a deal to start with a few of them to get over the county minimum.Quote:
