My wife brought home home McCormick Special Reserve. While I scolded her and told her it is probably just terrible vodka with caramel food coloring in it, I'm still going to drink and enjoy it.
On a side note, that Cavalier transmission is my bitch! Got every lined up and most stuff reattached. Just need to do the coolant, bleed the clutch, and axles.

Well, the starter heard me claiming superiority over the transmission, and decided to break a bolt when I tightened it too much. Pussy. So that adds up to two things I've broken so far. 1) a radiator hose 2) starter bolt. Pretty good considering the size of the job.

225 degrees, 5.75#, pork. It'll be done early but by the time I let it rest, pull it and place it in the crock pot.
Interesting, mine took 5hrs.@ 225 . Used a mixed blend SW sells. The cooking time for me varies compared to recipe time. Tried wet marinades, had better results with dry rubs. Bartering for another smoker, sold the traeger yesterday. Good thing we cook in bulk, have 5 - 10 days of leftovers in the freezer.
What internal temp did you get to in 5 hours?
My last pork shoulder I did stalled for 2-3 hours alone.

Roll back got me this morning. I was confused seeing different times. Baby crying, me sleepwalking, dog pawing my face, dreams of stadium brats.
Woke up at 230 and put the pork on. It's currently stalled at 155 degrees, smoker is at 240. Looking to get the meat to hit 200 degrees by noonish.
Somehow HB Jr is still sleeping... I just went and check on him to make sure he is still breathing. Either way, it was great to sleep in this morning!
