Mmmm... Vitamin D
CPU wasn't looking promising we were so far down the list so I burned some miles to try. So far we're holding the top of the list.

Be sure to get a covid test first..

Have fun. Should have plenty of sites to see without the crowds.Quote:
COVID-19: Negative test required prior to departure to bypass quarantine
Kauai: 14-day quarantine mandatory for all trans-pacific and inter-island travelers
Um yea, got that covered. It's a work/play trip for me and the topic came up on first contact with the account exec and client.
It's a big deal and you now have to upload neg results to an app/site before you can even board the final leg to show your own private QR code (when do the implants start?) or you are 14 day mandatory quarantine. I don't think any of the carriers are even allowing you to board without it.
ETA: Well, that might not have been the case but might be soon. https://www.sfgate.com/travel/articl...e-15769548.php

Couple knowingly boards SFO flight to Hawaii after positive COVID-19 tests.
Portuguese fried donut. What's not to love?
Last flight I was bumped up on SFO-DEN, that was a choice of a snack box, chicken, or veggie sammich in FC. I did get half hammered on a few bottles of JD.
1/2 water, pretzels, and stroupwaffel pack for the plebes in back. I can talk smack because with the relaxed requirements, I'm actually going to make... wait for it... Gold this year after this flight (spend). haha.
Turns out I really like teal.

Also, Jim and my mother will be pleased to know I finally bought a new phone that doesn't randomly delete texts and die after 40 minutes. And also some new aluminum Tripp base plates. Anybody know how well Cerakote sticks to aluminum?

It sticks just fine. You have to blast the surface and clean it really well, but it will adhere and look quite nice.
You can also look at Alumahyde. If you want to try Alumahyde, I have several cans of it (I'll check what colors).
Basic color anodizing is pretty easy. Paired with a decent clear coat it looks good and lasts quite well.
Type 3 hard anodizing is a PITA.
