Crap, I thought it was Thursday for sure when I woke up. Actually, just wishing it was. I've got a meeting this afternoon that I would saw my own leg off to get out of. Hump it out ya'll.

Have to be at "work" by 1. Time to get dressed. I should be off by 3 though.
Firefighting is fun, we don't have many structural calls, but certainly alot of wildfires, auto accidents and other misc...

Anyway, recently we went out to a grassfire on a Friday afternoon. It seems welders around here don't like carrying fire extinguishers, water or even been with which to put out the fires they cause...
I can't tell you all of the number of wildfires caused by welders in the past few years...
I want to be a welder. Hell, I just want to make 6-fig's a year too, but I know that's not happening
The last one was about 100 acres...
Most of the time the welders start a fire, then get in their trucks, call 911 and haul ass.
Common sense does not seem to be a requirement for the guys who weld fence line. Ranch welders...[Mad]
As you can see, I'm still determined to make a run at it...

I watched as he slowly started slipping down the hood of the truck...
I thought about waking him up and letting him know he was about to fall off the truck, but I decided to wait and watch the show...
Slowly and slowly he slid...
As his feet reached over the edge, he suddenly began to gain alot of speed...
He woke and began to flail as his rear end cleared the brush guard, but he was unstoppable at this point...
I lost sight of him as he went out. His fall was interrupted by a solid thump on the logging road which we were parked on...
