COVID has also been responsible for reduced shipping capabilities. I had some things on order from outside the US that took ages to get and that was a big part of why.

We had that issue in our old (pre-remodel) kitchen. Stupid fucks. Couldn't take the countertop out as it was tile and tile backsplash.
