Thanks... I actually have a claim like that tomorrow. Part on a washer broke and soaked the wood floor. While I haven't seen it yet, at the very least it looks like I'm paying to cut out a portion of the wood floor in one room, while sanding and refinishing ALL of the remaining portions of the floor. There are other things going on I'm sure. The bill will not be small.
I must say that in the past, I have been pretty disappointed in what an adjuster said my "Claim" was worth in a water damage related incident.
Insurance agent actually told my wife that "we have exceeded our benefits for *blank* period of time*....and if we have anymore claims, our rates will go up significantly. Sounded pretty mafia at the time...since we hadn't had a buttload of claims.
