Well I think we are going to play around in the Nederland area tomorrow. Likely hit the plane crash sight, and work our way to one of the other trails in the area. I won't set a specific time until later tonight, if anyone is interested and wants to pick a time, speak up.
I haven't been to the plane crash site yet. Been on my "to do" list for a couple of years now.
Ran MSV, part of Coney, and Bunce today.
Man the weekends are disappearing fast. This summer is flying by, and I'm not getting in anywhere near the trails we've done in previous years. Guess I need to step up my game.
Side note, I've noticed the last couple times I pulled out of the garage and backed down the driveway in the jeep that my brakes seem to go into something like an "anti-lock" mode a bit where it takes a bit more pressure to stop the jeep and they do that on/off thing like anti-lock brakes do. Goes away by the time I'm in the street. It is kinda weird, and I'm going to try to crawl under there tomorrow to take a look. Any suggestions? It's a '12 4 door, with a big lift, etc. I was pretty sure my brake lines were clearing ok at full flex, but will be double checking that. Maybe a vacuum issue? With the new bumpers I put on, that vac canister had to be relocated and it'll probably be a pain to get in there given where it was at. Still the idea of a few hours under the jeep in the garage, with a light rain falling outside sounds like a great afternoon to me.
Ended up starting at Bunce school road, hit the Ironclad trail, then continued on Bunce exiting at camp Dick. Great day of "wheeling", even got to try out the new Shield. Stay tuned for pics.
