So far with my cement mixer and wet process I've polished up 3500 .380's, 4500 9mm Lugers, and 5500 .40S&W's. Got 'em all bagged up by 500's.
Currently working on 10 gallons of .45acp's, and have a couple gallons of .38 Specials too. Working outside on the patio, this seems to be a GREAT rainmaking procedure! It's rained every friggin' day I've done this. Makes my ass red.

No need. Using PVC to make smaller chanbers. Then use the dryer to act ac the "wheel" to rotate the individual tubes. It's going to be a reverse engineered wet tumbler. EVERYONE is using some closable cylinder on rotating "wheels" i'm doing it reverse. I've never found shiny brass to shoot any better than brass that's a little dull.
My cement mixer does really well, the brass comes out of the rinse and media separator just super shiny, clean inside and out, and I can run a 2.5 gallon bucketful in one load. But, it then tarnishes and water spots within minutes. I swear you could almost stand and watch it tarnish. I have to figure out a good way to dry them quickly in large batches, spreading them out on a blanket in the sun ain't gettin' it.
I loaded up about 5,000-6,000 rounds of 45 GAP and 38 Medium Colt this weekend. I would have loaded more 45 GAP, but I ran out of Berrys 185 HBRN and then I ran out of 38 Medium Colt brass. Luckily Powder Valley had some 185s in stock so I ordered 5K. Graffs had 38 Long Colt in stock so I ordered another 2K.
Time to put them through the revolvers.
What is everyone using for ss media and where would one acquire some?

I stood each and every goddamn one of those up on my desktop to punch out the walnut media, sort out the dented/damaged/discolored/nickle plated ones, and then flipped every one of them over to pick out the ones with small primers. I picked up a Cabelas Model 400 tumbler kit this morning. I deprimed 300 pieces of 556, 300 blk, and 308 and threw them in the tumbler an hour ago.
Now.... I'm gonna deprime some 38, 40 and 45 and throw that in after the others are clean.
making some room for a 1050 ;)
loaded up some 44 magnum
what next 9mm, 5.56, or 308

Chances are good that you die is just fine. I've had brass smear just like that when I didn't use enough lube. Try using an awl or thin knife and try to scratch just the brass. If the brass comes off then split a dowel, use a bit of fine grain sandpaper and chuck it in a drill to smooth out the inside of the die. The sandpaper should remove the brass before doing much to the steel.
