I'm finally tuckin in to this chocolate easter bunny my mom had given me last April. I had half of it (it's a small bunny) and left the other half on my desk overnight. I came back to it after coming home from work and noticed choco-dust in the bottom, and a bunch of filthy black ants puttin it to my bunny! I ran the chocolate under the sink and thoroughly flushed out both the dust and the antennaed-invaders so the chocolate actually looks clean.
However, I'm afraid the ants might have impregnated the chocolate with toxic residues perhaps from pesticides or something. A) am I being an idiot and [most importantly] B) can I safely eat it?
