I keep up on the sorting pretty much after each range trip, but there's a lot you don't see until after cleaning, or even after decapping/sizing. I've caught a few nasty boys either trimming or the final cleanup stages deburring, etc.
Here it is, 1:30 something in the morning and I can't sleep. I miss my old Rem 700. I traded for it back in 1981 and had to sell it with some other treasures when times got tough several years ago. I keep an eye out for it at the gun shows and it was just unique enough that if it wasn't altered by the new owner, I'll know it if I see it. My Win M 70 is pretty cool but I miss that Remington.
Also, I need more .45 ACP to shoot. But prices are still a little too high for something that is disposable. Oh well, I'll just have to shoot 9mm for the time being.
I have been collecting parts for my first AR build and of course, I am over thinking the project. I can't decide what barrel length I should go with; a 16" or should I SBR and can it? I have my trust set up. Then there is the stock, and the hand guards, and the sights to use. The variety of accessories in truly bewildering. Now it is 1:50 something and I still hear Jo Dee a little but not as much. Oh crap, Man, i feel like a woman just made an appearance in my dome. Shania is really pretty but I would rather all the bitches would shut up for a little while.
I dvr'd the Supercross from San Diego tonight and I will watch it tomorrow, I mean later on today. Interesting season so far and its anyone's championship this year, no one is clearly dominant so far. American motorcycle road racing has been not so good these last few years, I hope the new organizers can get it back to where it should be. Politics screws everything up eventually. I hope someone can take it to Marquez this year in Moto GP. I mean the guy is good but I would rather see the racing a little closer with more winners during the season.

Last night Megan Kelly was wearing her leopard print dress. She dresses really sexy for a news show host and I don't remember hearing any of the bitches on the lefty shows complaining about it. Are all the women on the left news shows lesbians? You got me. Could be though, I guess.
I remember when I used to ride my dirt bikes in the desert with my friends and we would sit around the campfire in the evenings and drink Bud and Jack. These beetle looking bugs would run right into the fire and the big ones would sometimes "pop" as they burned. Pretty funny when one is drunk. Once a friend put a beer can half filled with premix in the fire. The gas started to boil and there was a jet of flame about two feet long shooting up. i was off to the side taking a leak and he stands up and shoots the can with his .45 and I think you know what happens. Yep, A big ball of flame and he and another friend are standing there and man, did they feel the heat. Red faces, missing eyebrows and honest to God, the next day you could see their outlines on the side of his truck and camper from the heat of the explosion. One of the lawn chairs melted too. All I could do was laugh at that. I really miss riding in the desert with my friends.
I need to reorganize my garage. Things are stacking up and I know that there is something that I can toss in the trash. My wife says the garage is mine but she keeps putting stuff out there and tells me that we need it or will need it at some point. We have stuff in boxes in the garage that we brought with us from CA back in 1999 that we have not unpacked and she won't let me sell it or toss it. If I ever get her to go visit her family back in CA, I WILL get rid of some of that stuff.
My laces on one of my work boots snapped yesterday. So I will need to stop by Red Wing and get some more. Red Wings, yep, I earned them back in 1988 and yes, I was drunk at the time but, I knew what I was doing. Kind of a right of passage back then. I never did know her name.
The coyotes are back and trying the get the neighborhood dogs to come out and play. I can also smell a skunk now and the coyotes are gone now. That was close to home and getting worse, I can almost taste it. Yuck! The cats are up and asking to go outside. No way I tell them, you don't want to be food!
I should probably start some laundry since I'm up. Nah, too noisy. I'll do my laundry later in the afternoon after I get back from the gun show. Maybe I can find some .45 ACP at a reasonable price. Ha! Like that will happen!
The wife is up now and has just asked me why I am up and telling me that I better not be buying anything online, I have enough ammo and parts and things and she needs a haircut and so does out daughter. They just got a haircut last summer. Women, so demanding and not so understanding. Why do women feel that they are so enlightened just because only they can give birth. I miss riding dirt bikes in the desert. I'll have to get the old CR500 up and running again this spring and do some riding. I can always ice the knees after the ride.
The wife says it is time to go back to bed. Take care all and have a great Sunday, I will!
