Vandy-Land is top on my dream sheet. I would Love to be out there. I had my Spyder out there for 3 weeks and loved cruising out to the end of North base. SLO is only about 45 minutes North, you can get great food in Santa Maria, and the Firestone Brewery is about 30 minutes outside of base. GREAT location and cool base... too bad it's still in California.

First Winter I was here, they shut down the base for a FORECAST!!!! They are getting better - they should have shut down in the beginning of the day, but waited till afternoon.

Cool. You can PM or email me their info. I would love some high-quality seafood. One of my friends told me to look into a Lobster fishing license.... license and equipment are cheap and you can basically get way more lobster than you could ever eat.
