You didn't miss much. I'm giving up on the show next season.
I am completely disappointed with this show. I felt it had so much potential but has been very poorly written so far.
What blows my mind is other than the very first episode with the "nerdy fat student who brought a knife to school", there has not been a single reference to food or supply chain interruptions... In reality, the moment something poses a threat to restocking the shelves or polluting the tap water, food/water insecurity will become the immediate focus of most people, causing some pretty dramatic (and criminal) behavior... That is what I would have expected to see in these first few episodes and it hasn't happened.
This show and the original TWD always did a poor job of concerning itself with water and food. I can kind of excuse FTWD with the military providing rations but still no explanation on the availability of water.
Looks like we're going to get to see our first horde soon. That should be fun.
Yeah, the reality factor is weak....but it's a show for entertainment.
I'm a little disappointed in the show so far, myself. I think it's still worth giving it a chance though, and seeing where they go with it.
Meh, this show sucks. I've given it all season only because it's a spin-off of TWD. If it was it's own entity I wouldn't have stayed the whole first episode let alone an entire season. I'll watch the last episode of the season tonight but I'm really not sure why. After the BS I've watched to this point I'm not seeing much they can do in one episode to turn it around. The characters all suck ass. They didn't go into the actual outbreak at all. There was no build up of anything. No making you hate or love any characters at all. I get we're supposed to hate the main military guy and he's the worst guy in the series to this point but... is he? Is he really? Who's the protagonist? Who are we supposed to gravitate towards? All of these characters are helpless liberals without a clue. The only people who had their shit together who stood a chance of bringing everyone together are long gone now and it's just a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off and, to me anyway, I'm just as concerned about their well being. Bad acting. Bad dialog. Bad plot. No budget. This, my friends, is a sucky show.
Can't argue that, Jer.
I just had some dialogue though, about whether or not one could screw a zombie and not get the zombiness from screwing. You gotta figure that since the heart is still pumping, the body must still be warm. I think you can have sex with a zombie and have no ill effects....just sayin.
