My brother just got his CCW in Jeffco by using competitive shooting instead of taking a class. Over all he only had to pay the $102 and it only took about two weeks since he paid. He originally submitted a few weeks earlier (right before Thanksgiving) and they called him to tell him no one has ever submitted that way and they weren't sure if it was allowed. He told them that it is listed as an option, and as the FIRST option on the website, so they better figure it out. He got it in the mail today.
87 days in El Paso. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because I’ve had a lot of addresses in the last 10 years, but Texas got it done in 4 weeks just a couple years ago. Kind of a bummer because I had heard EPSO was a lot quicker than that not long ago.
My DougCo renewal was three weeks on the nose.
They sent the letter/form/reminder in June for a permit to expire in Sept. I appreciated that and think it's a good policy--make sure everyone is covered. But then they took only three weeks.
Guess I haven't raised enough hell the last five years! Everyone was really nice too.
Submitted my renewal the first week of June. Still waiting.

I just renewed my Utah non-resident permit online. Took 6 business days from submission to arriving in my mailbox.
They probably just like me better.
