Howdy! :)

Hope you ho's are well, it's crazy every time I say hi on this thread at work I get busy wtf?
Everytime I shoot a match I get the bug to try and improve something about my gun, which is completely stock. Good thing I'm too cheap to actually act on that though. However, between my belt and holster, I'm definitely in need of some upgrades. If I wait much longer it's going to move from potential safety issue, to likely hazard. I really need to move to a full kydex holster. My leather one got so sweaty, for so long, on Saturday that if I drew slow (like to load and make ready) the holster would come out with the gun.
Hope it doesn't rain today as I'm sick of seeing these f'king rainbows everywhere....
Good morning, everyone! It's been awfully quiet in here lately.
What's been keeping everyone busy?
The HB clan has been busy getting settled in our new home in CA.
There are parts of CA that are really beautiful, but I can't say that I'm thrilled to be here.
The whole town smells like sewage and rotting vegetables. Lovely.
Just poured a 900sqft concrete patio in the backyard. The whole backyard is only about 1800sqft.
The rest will be a bit of grass with a border around the whole yard of mulch. Side yards are all rock. Overall, a very low maintenance yard.
I built a 14x3' raised garden bed on one side of the house.
Seeds are started for Broccoli, 2 types of green beans, 2 types of peas, lettuce, celery, kale, and onions.
And with the weather here, I'll be able to garden nearly year-round.
Hopefully it will help me keep my mind off the things I don't like about this place.
We also have a few fruit trees: apple, orange, lemon, and lime.
Maybe the "yard" isn't so low maintenance after all.... [Coffee]
Hopefully in 2-3 months I'll have lots of home-grown fruits and veggies to enjoy. :)
And the best part about the "maintenance" aspect is that it's all completely voluntary! If I don't feel like keeping up on it, I don't have to.
Awesome news: They just finished the neighborhood park that is about 300ft from our house. Lots of brand new playground equipment for the kiddos!
More awesome news: The new baby HoneyBadger is less than 2 months away!
I'm super excited to meet her. She is very active and responsive in mama's belly. HB Jr. was not like this at all.
When HB Jr. was still in mama's belly, if you touched her belly, he would get really still and "hide"
The new HB is the total opposite: If you touch mama's belly, she will push back, punching and kicking like there's no tomorrow! [ROFL1]
She's a feisty one, for sure. Maybe it will help keep the boys at bay long enough for HB Jr to get some guns of his own. :D
If any one of you fellas ever comes out my way (including you, Kazoo!) you'd better give me a holler!
Well, I should probably go find something productive to do...
I'm at this awkward stage where I am done with my introductions, but I don't start training for another few weeks, so I don't really have much to do...
And the internet is so bad around here... most websites won't even load up
It's a wonder that the forum even works. It's also a wonder that it's not blocked by the iron curtain of CA because, ya know, Ghost Guns or something.
Did I mention that there is a gun shop in town here called Tacti-Cool Guns? I don't know whether to run toward it or run away as fast as I can....
My wife used to eat spicy food to make our daughter kick.
Well, that's enough for me. Take care of yourselves and your families, you scallywags!
You sneaky mom, you!
Where has Flyboy been lately? BuffCyclist is MIA, didn't respond to a PM and I don't have his email addy. TheBelly had some medical stuff to work through, but is doing well. Where are the rest of the old hos at?
