Yeah, execution was decent, but they went on for too long at high pitch and then suddenly both came down to normal tones. It was actually a big April fools joke from Sam Adams last year.

So after spending hours (in my head) thinking of ways to prevent my inevitable sweating through holsters and ruining my guns. And even after actually starting half cracked ideas (sewing Tyvex to the back of the holster), I believe I've finally arrived at a way to prevent the sweat through. I present to you my solution, and firmly establish my station as the next generation of RedGreen engineering status. Behold. (laying on the work bench is the template I cut out of a coffee can lid before I noticed the duct tape hanging on the wall)

Also, Alien Gear's 3.0 holsters have an actual layer of sheetmetal in the middle of the holster. That should probably prevent any sort of liquid from passing through, right? [Dunno]

I've been dragging ass ordering a better holster for my summer carry P938. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Alien gear twofer. Got a setup for SP2022 which should be "compact" and a setup for P938 which should be micro with extra shells for my P229 and oh, what the hell the 1911. It looks like a P229 order would have put into into a sub compact so I figure I can put either the P229 or 1911 on the compact. If they work out nice, maybe I'll just order a larger base later on down the road.

I always have an undershirt on, so it feels the same. I wore it all day today and detected no moisture, but at the same time, I didn't do anything today either.

Also, I just had the whole, distressed lady knocking on the windows/doors saying someone was trying to get her, then the "boyfriend" showing up looking for her thing, play out in my front lawn, twice.

While that was exciting, I have to be up super early tomorrow and don't see myself falling asleep any time soon.

I pretty much did everything wrong. Wife called 911 though, we more or less worked as a team, along with two other neighbors and the police (when they eventually showed up).

On another note, came in second place at the 7:00 pm bowling match tonight. I was going undefeated but started choking at the end and the guy who won the loser bracket beat me twice in a row (badly). Had a lot of fun with JohnnyEgo tonight. Oh yeah, I borrowed a totally new to me gun as well, HA!
