Just bought a 1999 XT350; taking it to Apex soon for once-over/tune up and hoping they don't tell me I bought a lemon (seems to drive fine, but who knows).
Just purchased to add to the stable

I've owned my 85 XT since 1998. Great bikes. Don't remove the baffle from the exhaust, as it doesn't make it run any better. The carbs are the most convoluted, pointless design ever, so rejetting is a pain. The engine itself makes an anvil look fragile, however.Quote:
