Why do people veer left before a right turn??? In a car. No need to make space like a semi and cross the lane divider line.
Probably because they are not comfortable w/ not seeing as easily on that side of the car, being our steering wheels are on the left. I'd venture to guess they cut left turns close.
Why can't the driver of the damn carpet van in front of me this morning keep the damn thing in one lane? An interstate lane is 14ft wide by statute, the van maybe 8. Simple math says he should have about 3 feet on either side. This yokel managed to wander all the way from the left shoulder to the middle lane and back...
