2019 with just shy of 3000 miles. My buddy purchased it new from the dealer in May, 2020.

here's my ride. Bought this new in March 2020. Really like it a lot.

Anyone know if a cheap moped can be had? I want to get the motorcycle endorsement but really don?t intend to ride much beyond that. A cheap beater that I can license on and then sale.
I'm thinking that anything 50cc or less doesn't require a motorcycle endorsement. Most mopeds are 50cc or less and I don't know if they can be used to obtain the motorcycle endorsement.
I made it a point to get my motorcycle endorsement at the same time I originally obtained my driver's license at age 16--36 short years ago! I didn't own a street bike at the time, but had been riding off-road bikes of various flavors since I was 5 years old. My family was 1/2 owner of the local Honda motorcycle dealership at the time, so I borrowed a small street bike (200cc, if I remember correctly) and went and took my "test." The guy stood out in front of the building and told me to take it around the block. I made it back in one piece, so I passed! Good times.
ABATE.
Not too sure why I became "KTM dude" but I can't say I regret it much.
'18 350 XCF and a '17 1090 ADV R.
Second pic is on the slickrock in Green River UT.
3rd is on my first shakedown ride after I bought the bike from Cascade Creek near Idaho Spgs dropping over the pass into Georgetown.
Turns out dabbing foot in a rock garden isn't quite as easy when your ride weighs like 2 and a half dirt bikes.

it's been an active springtime for motorcycles around my house...
I already sold the BMW K1600GTL. It was just too much. Too much money, too much weight, too much to go wrong with it. Not enough time to justify having something like that in my garage.
Looking back on it, I really liked my 2014 NC700x and told everyone it was my favorite of all time. The only thing I wished for at the time was a little bit more road going capability and less "dual sport" feel. In all reality, the NC wasn't very well suited to off-road anything and by trying to be off-road capable, it gave up a bit in touring capability.
Having been a huge Honda fan since I was in kindergarten, I'm embarrassed to admit that I never knew the NT700 even existed. It was a big seller in Europe, but it never really caught on here and was only offered for a limited time. The buyer for my big BMW left my driveway last Sunday at about 5pm and I spent the rest of the day surfing Craigslist for a replacement bike. I found this one and bought it on Wednesday from a guy over in Boulder. It's a 2010 with only 6500 miles. I'm pretty sure I paid 30% too much, but I liked it and I don't care!
It needs 2 new tires. I'm pretty convinced I want the Michelin Road 5's, but I've never mounted a motorcycle tire before and I think I'd like to just pay someone to do it. I seem to remember there's a member with a motorcycle shop in Denver and I'd like to send the business to a forum member if it's feasible and if the member wants to mess with something as mundane as mounting a few tires. I can remove and reinstall the wheels, so I'd just drop them off.
In any case, here's my latest...

Owner is a member here. Good dude. Been there many times.
Thanks folks. Sending TFog a PM right now.
Yah. I was coming to that conclusion in reading the K1600 forum. To make matters worse, there seemed to be a constant stream of issues, recalls, stop sales, etc. The German feel along with the fit and finish is enticing, but I just don't have the patience or the time to deal with that stuff. The guy who bought it texted me yesterday morning to say that the reverse gearing was making a huge racket so he took it to the dealer. The dealer told him it could be anything from a replacement part in the reverse gearing to a NEW ENGINE!?! It's still under the factory warranty, so nobody is getting too excited, but that's the kind of stuff that really boils my blood when you pay a premium for what's supposed to be a premium product.
I've been a Honda motorcycle fan since I was in kindergarten, so it's always my fallback. I really enjoy riding, but I'll never be the Iron Butt poster child. I've come to the realization that I'm at least one airplane hobby away from being a serious motorcycle touring rider. I anticipate that the longest ride I'll do in the next 15 years will probably be to Steamboat and back. I don't need (or want) a big Goldwing or a K1600GTL for that kind of riding.
TFogger and I have been chatting by PM re: some new rubber for the new ride. I'm planning to send him a PM with the green light to order in a tire or two for me as soon as I've posted this message. For anyone in the market, he beats RevZilla prices by enough that even after taxes, he's less expensive. His mounting fees are very reasonable, too, and I feel much better giving a local person the business rather than mail order whenever I can.
Just rescued this little guy from a life of loneliness in a garage in Ft Worth. It's a 2011 Sportster 1200C. My first Sportster and I'm surprised at how fun it is to ride. It had 1074 miles on the odo when I picked it up. If I didn't know better I'd swear this thing was just off the showroom floor. Seller threw in a brand new battery and new tires (I have to have the tires installed). The tires on it are original to the bike so I'm a little leery of them.

Nice girls bike! LOL, kidding-to me Sportys have been some of the most fun bikes to run around on, great for day rides. Probably the bike I miss the most is the ‘06 1200 Roadster I had. Last year of the carbed motor, dual plug heads, had it “breathed on” a little bit. 97hp with 95ft lbs torque. Upgraded the suspension and brakes. All my pics are stuck on my old photobucket account.
Enjoy, ride safe.
Nice Sporty, Bailey! I'd swear it was brand new too.
Got rid of my Suzuki about a year and a half ago and got myself a Sporty, mine's a 2015 883 SuperLow. My second bike and my first Harley.

Ugh. The Sportster pictures are making my knees, elbows, and lower back hurt.
Don?t get me wrong, I?m not disrespecting the bike and I?ve owned a few. I guess I?m just getting too old for those things.
I picked up one of these today... A 2022 Honda Navi. It's basically a scooter with more interesting styling. I'm told it's the least expensive motorcycle for sale in 2022. I'm planning to use it around the neighborhood. I haven't ridden one and wasn't about to take it for a test ride today when I picked it up. I'm a fair weather rider and 5 degrees doesn't work for me!

That's is pretty neat. I have looked at the Grom, but I am hold out for the Trail 125 if I can find one. They had one in Pueblo West, but it was almost $1000 over MSRP. I have about 2 miles of dirt road to the house, plus we had a Trail 90 growing up that I learned on.
I really like the Trail 125, too, but I’ve found them impossible to get, too. Whenever supply catches up with demand, I’ll probably buy one. I have a 1981 Trail 110 that’s in perfect condition and I love it for running around the neighborhood.
I had a frustrating experience at the dealer yesterday when I went to pick it up. Between an inflated sales price and a pile of bullshit fees, my $1807 toy was going to be $3600 out the door. I got them down to $2600-ish, but I will always have a bad taste in my mouth about the deal and will likely never buy from them again. I guess this is what happens when a friendly hometown dealer is purchased by the Elway group. Can you imagine if Costco tacked on $800 in fees on an $1800 purchase? Next time I’ll shop the shit out of it and I swear I’ll drive to Omaha with my trailer if that’s what it takes to avoid getting poked. Yes, I’m that stubborn!
What are your CCW setups while you ride? I’m trying to find a lighter flannel shirt with an inside pocket but it seems they only make jackets with it. I’m not sure if I’m old enough for a vest yet but I’m considering an ankle setup, or something. I carry a 43X AIWB normally.
Pics of the new to me saddlebags I scored for $20.

I started this year with 1 bike.
2007 Triumph Tiger 1050 sport tourer
Then I got a deal on a
2012 Kawasaki KLR-650 and paid that off in 4 months.
Then I went to pawn shop and found a muscle bike.
2009 Yamaha Road Star Warrior 1700
After I picked up all those I still miss my sport bike.
2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R 30th anniversary with 12,000 miles.
That is the bike I feel most comfortable on too.
I may flip the other bikes.
I wish I could post pictures. But they are on my phone.
Nice wheels. Don't let anyone just ride them.
