Chamfered a couple hundred .223 cases.
Thank God for my new lyman case prep center.
Sent from my teepee using smoke signals.
Loaded up (100) rounds of Hornady .224 55gr. SP's for the next Pdog hunt that I traded for with Jim, and delivered via JMVer. Thanks to both!

Still trying to get my reloading room to dry out. [facepalm]
Bummer.
I'm cleaning mine up with a wetvac.
I just got mine dried out as well. Caught the water coming through the window well just in time Thursday morning. I have been watching it ever since.
sorted buckets of .223 brass, loaded 2400 9mm and a couple hundred 45acp. I no longer have small pistol primers or 45 acp bullets. Sad day.
These are the times that try men's souls.

Don't try to look all powdered out I know you got a fresh jug of unique under your bed. You probable sniff it every night while your wife is brushing her teeth
Shut up, you!@!!!!
If you can deal with APS strips, Wideners has CCI small pistol. Also, check with http://thereloadingzone.com
Did 101 357 sigs loaded with 6.5 gr of universal with a hornady XTP 115 gr on top. I'll be at the firing line tomorrow night if anyone wants to join in the festivities!!
Huge day today. Processed 7k .223 on the dillon 1050. Loaded 200 38 special, loaded 400 45 acp, loaded 2k 9mm, loaded 100 300 blackout test loads, loaded 91 .308 "match loads", Processed 120 300 RUM and primed them as well. Then I loaded up about a million .223, 9mm, 40 cal and 10mm mags. All told it was a big day in the reloading room!
Working on 444 Marlin light loads and 38 Special.
Loaded 150x 9mm. Gonna have to load a lot more in the coming week too, my bachelor party got cancelled due to being too far away (1hr) for people to make it. So we're going bowling, drinking, dinner, drinking then waking up and heading to the shooting range to shoot up all of my ammo. :/
I have been a bad boy. Due to a number of factors I have not done much reloading. The trimmer I paid to borrow never showed up so that 1/2 a 5gal bucket of .223 was not going to get trimmed on a lee trimmer.
And ya know how every trip to the range makes one of those bags of brass that you say you will get to later? Well I had a bunch. So I have been coasting on ammo loaded like 3 years ago and it was getting low. I bought one of the WFT for .223 and started while working on one of the cars.
I also started dragging out those bags of brass to do the first tumble on. so after a load here and there I am about 3/4 done with the first clean and then to sort and size. The pile was bigger than I thought.[Bang]Attachment 34637Attachment 34639
loaded 50 rounds of 45 acp./
Loaded 200rds 9mm. Tomorrow, I start loading at least 400rds .40s&w. If I can find time between all the other work I have going on around the house.
Prepped 80 300 Win Mag cases for loading
Tried my new K&M neck turner. It works fine, but using it is almost the definition of drudgery to me. Then again, I hate each and every aspect of loading except putting the loaded rounds in the boxes.
I've also been using a borrowed Giraud Trimmer on a bucket of .223 brass. Having a trimmer that references off the shoulder and not the base took some thinking to understand, but it makes good sense. It's difficult to measure requiring two different measurements, but that's the only real drawback. Sure is fast.
Laminate floor is back down.. Carpet goes tomorrow.. T
Then maybe I can move back in..
Whole thing flooded in the rain right after I finished it..
Prepping 444 Marlin for reduced power loads. My test went great.
Loaded my first test batch of 22-250 with Nosler Ballistic Tip Varmint 40 grain projectiles, and 36 grains of IMR 4064. That's only about 15 grains more powder than my favorite .223 load with this projectile, but with a velocity of 3877 ft/sec. We'll found out how much more "bang for the buck" I get on my first Pdog this weekend!
loaded 20 rds of 223 sub -sonic, with tighter crimp. road test this weekend
road tested some SMK 55 gr JSP, Hornady 55gr SPSE. Very happy with those loads.
assisted another shooter on the 550 for some 158 gr LSWC in 38 spl
Loaded 60 rounds of 223 with my new Lee Perfect Powder Measure. This is the first Lee product that I am HIGHLY dissatisfied with.
After running the full hopper through it (like the directions state), I started setting up the "micrometer". Set it for roughly 22gr of IMR 4895 and when weighed, it was at 18gr. Okay, VMD is a little off, increase it. Finally got it to weigh a couple at 22gr, so I started filling 50 primed cases with powder. And that "micrometer" is a joke. First, its plastic, second it is not even close to the advertised VMD's.I mean sure, it hits the mark and has roughly 10% play, but thats a massive fail for a reloading component.
Went to weigh them all just to make sure it was still good, the charge weight varied from 20.8gr to 22.9gr. Completely unacceptable! Ended up having about 25% of the charges were that far off.
Definitely returning this one. Any recommendations for a BETTER rifle powder dropper? Perhaps a metal one? And no, I can't afford a chargemaster.
38 Special - using TiteGroup - shoots nice in the Model 28.
Finished loading that pound of powder, almost exactly 25% of the rounds had charges that varied by up to 1.5gr off from the norm. Not sure if I got a faulty unit or what, but its definitely going back.
loaded 60 rnds of 300 rum 208 grain a max and cleaned the bench
I picked up a vintage (1960ish) Redding Master series powder drop off of eBay. Shot the inside with some graphite and started checking drop consistency. It was within 0.1grn through 20 drops. It was never used and got it for $30. Redding hasn't made any major design changes to their powder drops. I'm a believer in Redding.
Thanks for the tips KS63 and encorehunter! I've looked into other brands and was leaning towards the Hornady LNL one, can be had for around $70, but then I hear that RCBS is better quality and its at $80-100. It would just be nice to not have to weigh 223 plinkers and know they are closer the 0.1gr difference than the 2+ gr difference I was getting with the Lee (even though those charges were still within specs, theres nothing that says it couldn't suddenly spit out one with 15gr and cause a squib or something).
Got a Lee classic cast press to dedicate to decapping. Mounted it up on a spare workmate I had around. I won't load any faster but it'll be cleaner!
Trying my hand at 30 Carbine
Helped a friend load 45 ACP on a single stage. Great learning experience for him. So slooooooooow though :)
