I work for a small outfit hiring a QA Engineer in the broadcast area. It ain't the greatest place to work but it has good benefits, insurance, vacation, 401k matching and such. They don't pay super well but all the other stuff adds up. This is employee. We don't do contractors.

Here's the overall description:
This candidate must have a firm technical background centering on Unix/Networking/Database/Broadcast. This candidate must be capable of authoring, executing and maintaining a detailed system acceptance test suite. This candidate must be able to define and deploy software updates. This candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be capable of improving current procedures. This candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills, combined with good communication skills and able to articulate to upper management technical issues and problems. This candidate must be able to understand business cases and be capable of authoring end executing specific test scenarios.
Primary skills:
- Systems engineering experience
- Unix (IBM AIX, Linux )
- Networking experience (Tcp, Udp (including Multicast), Ip, Ethernet)
- Database basics (Oracle, sqlplus)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
