Whenver. My wife and I will be coming back from Silverthorne so maybe meet at the trail around 11:00?
Won't be able to make it have to make up a class this Sunday and won't be done till around 12 or 1.
We can go whenever as long as 10mm and whoever else comes is good with it. We could do like 2 at the trail?
Can't make this Sunday run, please keep me in the loop!
We need to coordinate a better way to post up runs and get RSVPs lined up. Anyone have any good ideas?
On a side note I was messing around with my brake lines today just to see how they work with a little bit of flex. Looks like they will be enough. Disconnecting the rear sway bar has made a huge impact on rear articulation. Even with the front connected the rear flexed great.

Are you guys still going on Sunday?
Yeah, I think I can swing it. Are you going back to 11:00 am since lex can't make it?
We are doing whatever. I'm free all day and I didn't end up going to the mountains so I can meet wherever/whenever. Me and Alamo will be ready! 10mm what you thinking?
Sorry, I'm here. I'm down for 10:00 am at the gas station! Let's roll.
Good time today guys. Thanks for having me. Everyone make it home okay?
I made it home safely. My wife got a few good vids today that I am uploading now. Here is one!

Glad you came along and it was good to meet. Would gladly hit another trail with you.
I took some photos and some video, but nothing worth posting up as I was driving at the same time in all of them. I was stopped on the side of the road taking a picture of a coyote on the way back, by the way. Either of you guys have plans to put a CB in your rigs?
Any other pics or vids? Sorry I missed it. I had to work.
I have been working on some trails for upcoming trail rides with you dudes. Has anyone in here run carnage canyon? I've never been up there but HOLY BALLS does it look tough. I know 10mm has been bored with Slaughterhouse and Left Hand Canyon and this just may get him engaged!
Carnage Canyon is where buggies play. From couple hundred yards I've seen, I think you guys would probably do just fine, but you'd for sure be stopping and spotting for each other.
T-giv and 10mm you guys have very capable rigs and could run Carnage (BV) I think no problem just expect some body damage....but hey that's just character [Beer]
Or you guys could play in the Penrose trail system like Indy or Liberty!!

Pretty sick!
Yeah... after watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfwall7_PJU , I'll not be running carnage any time soon. I am down for another run with you guys though. The last one was a blast. There's some trails up the poudre that might be fun. If I ever get a weekend off, I may have to host a run accompanied by an after party at the house. Lots of room for people to crash cause after wheeling, we might have to put down a few beers and tear up some BBQ. :)
Awesome video. That looked fun. What a trip they must have had. The last part of Carnage Canyon at the top (starting around 8:40 of the video), is unbelievable. We have walked down it from the top and I couldn't imagine taking a vehicle up that. My son and nephew rode their dirt bikes up from the bottom of it a hundred yards or so, and that was cool.
Just got back from Moab. I didn't even break anything this time.[DriveBy]

Wow.. nice pics. Were you solo?
Took my 2 daughters, and got to meet a lot of cool people.
Nice.. I'm jealous.
FINALLY found a decently priced used soft top (CJ5 stuff is hard to find and expensive ... a new top would have cost me between $800 and a grand!).
Top was $250 ... about half of what any other used complete soft top I found would cost.
Overall the top is in excellent shape (a couple scratches on the passenger side door window ... and someone cut and re-welded the passenger side door pins to get a slightly different offset so it doesn't fit quite right).
Was a bitch to install that's for sure, my jeep is a '70 with a windshield that I believed was from a '76-83 CJ5 but it could have been from a CJ8 too as it was installed to make the single cab hard top the Jeep came with work so the soft top doesn't fit exactly perfect, but it works well enough so I'm happy with it (and now we can take the dog with us in the Jeep which was the whole point in getting it in the first place).
At first I wasn't sure I'd like a blue top on a red Jeep but I figure if I get a Patriots bumper sticker on it I can piss off some Bronco fans :)

There's everything from super hard core trails to very mild trails. Your rubi would do fine on lots of trails out there.
Where is the video of the Ford Crown Vic at Moab?
Man, we need to go wheelin! Badass CJ5 pics and moab inspiration... I may have to just go crawl something because... I'm looking for a tranny builder at the moment. Can't throw too much money at it this month, but I'd like to have it built before June.
