Due to Weekday Savings Time, Friday has been pushed forward to what used to be known as Saturday. So if you could come in on Saturday, that would be great.

Was repairing some screw holes in the garage drywall after removing shelves. Get a call from California. Next thing I know I'm speaking Spanish and telling the señora she has the wrong number and I'm a gringo. #drywallrepair

Ever feel like you need to adjust the direction of your "career"?
Damn...Sale section is more like the give away section. Peeps what stuff for next to nothing.
Because no one believes there;s any reason to spend a few $$ . There's alot of good deals, like i should really buy it deals. Buit, any spare change i have is going towards relocating. Maybe.
This one has got my attention. BUT... One wonders about the previous owners OR who may still believe they live there. Believe the Heli Pad is a red flag. Still 29+ ac

1) Roof looks unsafe to walk
2) They must have had to constantly sweep all the scorpions out of the room for pictures.
3) Wonder why there was no power. None of the lights were on for the pictures.
4) Where does that window above the kitchen sink lead?
5) You can clearly see there is a sizeable pond in the first picture, how is that not in any of the rest of the photos? Seems like that would be a pretty important feature.

Buy > move in > and then 3 ornery Colombians show up asking for the location of Ramon and the recent shipment.
That's exactly the red flags the HELIPAD screams.
Guy who lived 2 houses down from us was , lets say an entrepreneur, in what's believed to be controlled substances. He has "troubles" as he put it with the "IRS" and has to sell the house real fast. Turn our friends who were looking on to the deal. 1-2 years after moving in (20 yrs ago) people still knocked on the door looking for "That guy".
I was joking about the roof, just because it's flat.
When you open the link on a mobile device, the picture of the house (before you go into the actual picture set) is reflected vertically. They faded the reflection so it looks like it is water. I clicked the link on the regular computer and it does not appear that way. Looks like no pond. Only a helipad and 23 acres. Bummer.
My wife and I are developing a new business venture. We'll be the only "Greatest Generation" dating app. We're going to call it, Tail As Old As Time.
Female talent will be referred ro as "Belle"s, males as"Beast"s.
My neighbor: "Oh you broke your shovel? You should use one with a fiberglass handle; it won't break on you."
Me: "I like wood handles, I was just using it wrong."
My neighbor: "Here, you can borrow mine."
Me: "I'll just go buy another handle, it's no big deal."
My neighbor: "No it's fine. You won't hurt the shovel."
Me buying my neighbor a new shovel: "Here you go, your shovel is about to break."
My neighbor: "I'm sure it's fine."

I could use a new shovel, Stu.
Want to borrow my old, worn out one so you can break it and buy me a new one?
I have a ton of various shovels in my attic with broken handles in case your feeling froggy one day and want to replace the handles. You can have them for free. Also, I think I'm done digging for a while. I was digging up my sprinkler in my backyard so I can route it to my garden instead.
What, No Power Auger?
If I tried to use a power auger to locate my sprinkler line, I'd almost assuredly grab the line with the auger and either pull lines that I don't want to disturb out of the ground, get the line twisted around the auger until it decided to swing me around and bash my head into the gas grill, bend the auger blade on the concrete patio only 2" away; or most likely, all three. I already punched plenty of holes in the line I was following with the shovel.
On another note, this year's garden is going to be AWESOME!!!!! (or a total failure). I'm also thinking about chickens again. And solar for the chickens. And solar for both of my vehicles (one to charge the battery on the one I don't drive, and the other to charge all my electronics on the one I do drive). And the decorative well to hide the pipes on my sprinkler system in my front yard. See? This is what happens when I spend time outside for the first time in 5 months.
I did temporarily pick up a drill press from 1981. I had some pictures but I must have deleted them. A little rust here and there, and the whole top where the belts runs was full of a mouse nest, but the light turns on and the motor works. Drill press isn't staying with me though.
