Very awesome! Thank you for sharing. On my days off, weather permitting, I let my 3-year old ride his bicycle up to Starbucks while I walk with him. I get a coffee and he gets a spoonful of whip cream, the we head home. It's only a few blocks, so not to far of a ride and it makes his whole day. God bless the little ones.
I have a tendency to vear away from a lot of the topics here on but I had to reply to this. When I read this post I picked up my four year old daughter and wouldn't put her down. My daughter is my entire world and you posting about your day with yours made me think how totally apart of me my daughter is. Once a week we spend the entire day together, eating junk food, going to toy stores, singing as loud as we can, Disney on Ice, whatever....just sort of raising hell and and hanging out. It's our weekly daddy/daughter date. All the other days are special too, but one day week we do it a little different. I am lucky man to have a four year old as my best friend. There is no greater gift. Thanks for posting this Joey, it really made me smile.
Very cool ....she is a cutie pie.
Love it man! I live close to you in Divide. My daughters and I made a snowman and had a snowball fight that day and it was awesome! They home school also. Sounds like we might have a lot in common.
They are the reason I carry concealed more than anything. I have a friend who wont carry around his kids. What's the point? I would lay down my life for my kids and cant imagine something happening to them that I could have prevented.
Old thread but it still managed to make my eyes water a bit.
Daughters rock.
Thanks again to everyone for the kind words and encouragement! Calla's birthday is on the 24th and I'm hoping to get together enough "cheddar" to buy her a savage rascal. She's saved up $48.52 as of today. Hopefully in a few weeks i'll be able to post up some more of our adventures...but with moar [UZI]
