I got a call from a co-worker around 1000 this morning. One of our customers needed something done NOW that he failed to plan for. Usually, I'm the only one to work on this particular network and know it inside & out. Luckily, I've written some damned fine detailed procedures - to include what she needed to do. She was just calling to verify the procedure she was looking at was the right one to accomplish what the customer wanted; it was. Taking the time to write a procedure saved me from having to go into work on my day off. Whew.
