I remember in one episode they were at a crime scene and the blues hadn't arrived yet. Cheech was relegated to directing traffic. One pedestrian gal flashed him and he couldn't leave his post...he just smiled and waved.

The theme song from Route 66 always did it for me. Nelson Riddle stuff...fantastic.
