Good for you! I was homeschooled, and received a fantastic education. Was reading/writing by 3, reading on a college level by 10, and consistently was ahead of my peers in mathematics of all flavors. I don't think it was anything inherent, nearly as much as the focused, 1:1 instruction and dedication from my parents. Life has been much easier for it... keep up the good work!Quote:

I never had toy guns growing up. I had a stick and an imagination.
My school mascot was Yosemite Sam, complete with 2 pistols....drawn. When I was in junior high, there was a big effort by the high school principal to replace the pistols with a book and ruler. Thankfully, the community members persuaded the school board not to change it.
Next they will tell the kids to turn mommy and daddy in for speaking bad against the .gov..
