I'm game but I'd really rather take advantage of protect uninformed Boulder citizens from themselves and rescue war vets like old Garands, 1911s and 1903s from the crusher. Somehow I think we'd get fewer idiots respondents in Colorado Springs anyway ...

I'd like to see someone get an injunction against this on the grounds of church/state separation. After all...a "multi-faith" coalition holding an official event on the grounds of publicly owned property? Oh, the huge manatee!

That would be taking a page right out of the liberal/progressive playbook.

In other words a bunch of do gooders that have no faith in themselves trying to change the world.

So...they have to have an FFL there doing background checks and paying the fee for every transfer OR the deputies are on duty and being "paid" by a church.

Hmm. I bet that they try and claim that the deputies are on duty and no FFL is needed and that the deputies getting "paid" by a church doesn't conflict with the church/state separation thing.

very good points... In all seriousness, I hope these guys get schwacked if they break any laws.

Wonder if they will do like the police did in another city and if you get in line you are not allowed to leave with your firearm. Doesn't matter if you agree to their payout.
