Is the $1 billion in aide you are refering to is the money that is going towards Egypt? If so, we are giving that money to Egypt because it was part of the 1979 peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, as condition of Egypt not fighting Israel the U.S. promised to give Egypt economic and military aid money.

The only redeeming thing I've read about Al-Asad is he allows a measure of religious tolerance.

This is what I've been saying since this all started... To what end will it be good for us to get involved? Support Al-Asad=bad, he's a friend of Iran. Support the rebels and we're supporting AQ. Why get involved at all? And Oblowme is talking about granting asylum to thousands of Syrian refugees? I don't think so! Giving them weapons? You think he'll have a background check done on them? By getting involved it allows O's agenda to grow. White, Gun owning people are potential Terrorist (as are newly returned veterans) Yet muslims are a religion of peace we should embrace with open arms.. Unfortunately This administration as others are blind to the fact in "their world" arms suppliers or not we are all INFIDELS!

Did anyone nitice the photo in todays Denver Post of the protesting in Pakistan ????? Tell me why all the signs the protesters were waving were in English... Was it for the Wests benifits or were they photo shopped to be in English fro the media.????

English is prevalent int pakastan and India b/c there are so many different languages. English has become a universal language for many reasons and so is used as a general second language for most.
